Farah, 2 years old, family vacation near Montpellier, France.
I'm totally off topic today. I'm so proud I can't resist telling you about this.
Farah, 15 years old, Québec City, Canada.
My little sister, Farah, won few years ago the French Feminine Boxing Title for her category. Then she stopped boxing to concentrate on her university studies.
Farah, 22 years old, proudly standing on the second step of the podium
France National Feminine Boxing Championships 2006, Senior category, 75 kg (161 lbs)

She resumed boxing after that hiatus and was on the 3rd step of the podium at last year's France Championships in her category.

This year, she went to the final match and stood proudly on the podium. She's classified 2nd at the French National Championships of Feminine boxing, category Senior, 75 kg (165 lbs).

Little sister, I wish you win the National Championship next year and most importantly, I wish you continue to have loads of fun at the sport you love !

Came here through your comment on my blog. Yes I have been here before too :).
Congratulations ! for the happy news.
And thanks for adding me to your links. Will add you too.
Hi Spicehut,
You mean you've been a boxer? Or may be an champion at an other sport?
My pleasure for the link. And thanks you.
Hi Zoubida - am definitely not a fan of boxing myself, but I am happy that you're happy for your sister - she seems to be doing rather well! Good luck to her!
My little sister started playing ice-hockey about 2 years ago, and really enjoys it. I'm only good in TV sports, if even that:)
No no :) I meant I have been on your blog before too. I dont have a 'sports-playing' bone in my body :).
Hi Pille,
Not at all a fan of boxing here. But since Farah loves it, I try to know a little bit about it.
Feminine hockey sounds lots of fun too. My 2 sons keep asking me to allow them doing it. May be next season I'll allow them, though I much prefer them to ski.
Spicehut, yes, I remember. That's how I discovered your blog. You know what, I'm not much of a sport person neither. I just got a call an hour or two ago from the gym. The manager gently tried to convince me coming more often. It's been almost a month I didn't set foot there. I wish I ressembled more my little sister. Sigh!
